The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) on Monday disconnected power supply to PTI chief Imran Khan’s Banigala residence in the federal capital.
According to Iesco spokesman, the power supply was cut off due to non-payment of electricity bills.
He said Rs. 130,000 dues of last two months (August and September) were not paid by Imran Khan despite notices, adding that the power supply could be restored once the bill are paid.
Last month, Khan set fire to his Islamabad residence’s electricity bill to fuel ‘Civil Disobedience Movement’ against the PML-N government.
