A local peace committee member identified as Saadullah Khan was shot dead by unknown persons in Matta area of Swat on Tuesday.
His body has been shifted to Matta Hospital. Family members of the deceased and other peace committee members have also gathered at the hospital.
A search operation has been launched by the forces for the arrest of the suspects. No arrest has been made as yet.
