The total liquid foreign exchange reserves held by the country stood at US $15,212.7 million on January 2, 2015.
Giving the break-up of the foreign exchange reserves position, a statement of State Bank of Pakistan said that forex reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US $ 10,475.8 million while Net foreign reserves held by banks US $ 4,736.9 million on January, 2.
During the week ending January 2, 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US $ 171 million to US $ 10,476 million compared to US $ 10,305 million in the previous week. -APP
