The World Health Organization clarified earlier today that a man who died this morning in Faisalabad was not infected by Ebola virus.
Zulfiqar Ali, who arrived in Pakistan from West African country of Togo 10 days ago, was admitted at Allied Hospital in Faisalabad couple of days back.
It was initially believed that Zulfiqar died because of the deadly virus.
The hospital administration had said that his blood samples have been sent to National Health Institute for further tests and confirmation of the virus.
But the WHO has now confirmed that the man was not infected with the dreaded Ebola virus. The virus is extremely deadly and once Ebola sets in there is hardly any cure.
