Gates has topped the list Forbes Billionaire 15 times of the last 20 years and he did it again. According to the top of Forbes magazine’s annual list of the world’s richest people, Bill Gateswith a net worth of $76 billion, reclaimed the top spot after a four year hiatus. Last year topper Mexico’s telecommunications tycon Carlos Slim Helu, placed second with a net worth of $72 billion.
3rd ranked is Amancio Ortega, the Spanish founder of clothing conglomerate Inditex SA, with a net worth of $64 billion.
