Fresh from his trip to China PM Nawaz flew to Germany yesterday where he stated that, “economic development was the foremost priority of the government, which is trying its best to overcome energy crisis so that the country’s economy could revive”.
In an interview with German television channel N24, the prime minister said, “German investors should take advantage of the lucrative investment opportunities in Pakistan. And there is a lot of room for growth in sectors like energy and agriculture.
To a question, he said the government’s duty was to run the state’s affairs, not the business, factories or the restaurants
The prime minister said Pakistan had vast potential in agriculture sector and had a distinction in production of wheat, cotton and sugarcane.
Sharif reiterated that Pakistan would extend maximum possible cooperation for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
“Elimination of terrorism would serve the interests of both the countries”, he added
