A sessions court in Karachi acquitted Natasha Danish, a bail accused in the Karsaz traffic accident case, following an out-of-court settlement with the victims’ families. The court had previously set her bail at Rs100,000 surety.
Danish Natasha had faced charges for driving an SUV recklessly, resulting in a fatal accident on August 19 this year, which claimed the lives of a man and his daughter. Additionally, the session judge granted bail to Danish Iqbal, her husband and the prime suspect in the accident case.
An affidavit submitted to the court stated, “We have reached a settlement and have forgiven the accused. We forgive her in the name of Allah, who is the Most Merciful and Compassionate.”

The tragic accident occurred when an SUV collided with multiple vehicles on Karsaz Road, killing 26-year-old Aamna and her 60-year-old father, Imran. Another individual injured in the incident remains in critical condition.
Initially, the police booked Natasha Danish for the deaths of Imran Arif and his daughter Amna Arif. Following medical reports that confirmed she was under the influence of methamphetamine, commonly known as crystal meth, another case was registered against her.

According to the FIR, Natasha was driving from her home in DHA Scheme-I to her in-laws’ residence, covering a distance of approximately 3-4 kilometres, at the time of the accident.
