National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has filed a reference against Justice Asif Saeed Khosa in Supreme Judicial Council.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa in his judgement on April 20, 2017 remarked him Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s loyalist.
In the reference, Ayaz Sadiq plead that Justice Khosa’s remarks in the Panama case reflected the judge’s bias as none from the bench passed any such statements.
The reference against Justice Khosa has been filed under Article 209 of the Constitution, which deals with matters of the Supreme Judicial Conflict.
