The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has called for every citizen in Karachi to be allowed to bear arms to combat the rising street crimes.
MQM leader Mustafa Kamal voiced this demand during a media interaction, where he expressed the community’s desperation in the face of escalating violence.
Kamal highlighted the severe situations where young people are being openly murdered, stating that if the authorities cannot protect the citizens, they should at least allow them to defend themselves. He lamented the ongoing genocidal street crimes and declared that the community could no longer endure the increasing brutality.
Kamal also criticized the allocation of urban quotas to others, indicating systemic neglect by law enforcement agencies, and suggested a sinister plan targeting the city’s youth.
