The series of unannounced load shedding continued on the first day of Eid in Karachi despite the announcement from K-Electric that there would be no load shedding during the eagerly awaited festival season.
The privately owned utility deprived several areas of the megapolis were deprived of electricity since early morning on the first day of Eid sparking anger and protest from the public.
