Actress-singer Bidisha Bezbaruah has been found hanging from a ceiling fan, from her flat at Sushant apartment in Gurgaon late on Monday evening.
Bidisha Bezbaruah who acted in Jagga Jasoos and a popular face in the Assamese film industry.
The actress was last seen in Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos which released on Friday.
According to ‘India.com”, the police have booked Bezbaruah’s husband, Nisheeth Jha, for abetment to suicide and arrested him on Tuesday on the complaint of the actress’s father. An FIR has been registered against Jha under Section 306 (abatement to suicide) of IPC at Sushant Lok police station.

A ‘TOI report’ quotes the police as saying that the recovery of Bezbaruah’s body was made around 7.30 pm on Monday after a property dealer who broke into her flat, along with some neighbours. He was reportedly contacted by her husband when Bezbaruah did not respond to repeated phone calls.
He father had claimed in his complaint that Bidisha had a love marriage but would often fight with her husband. Her husband has been arrested after the complaint.
Investigation teams are examining Bidisha’s social networking accounts and mobile phone.
