A passenger was killed and at least eight others critically wounded when Quetta bound Jaffar Express came under rocket attack near Sibi in Balochistan.
According to local news channels, militants fired three rockets at Quetta-bound Jaffar Express near Sibi town.A
Levies official told popular local news channel “Samaa Tv” .“Three rockets hit a bogie near engine.
A man died on the spot while at least eight others were wounded,”
Rescue operation was underway at the scene, he said.
He said security forces cordoned off the area and started search of the attackers who managed to flee in the mountainous region.
Those injured were shifted to Sibi district hospital.
Jaffar Express was heading to Quetta from Rawalpindi
