Pakistan Railways has suspended Jaffar Express services between Quetta and Peshawar due to the worsening security situation. “The train, scheduled to depart Quetta, is halted,” a statement read. Passengers will receive full refunds, management confirmed. This attack follows a pattern of violence, including a November 2024 Quetta station bombing that killed 26 and injured over 40.
