TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei vowed on Saturday to teach the United States “unforgettable lessons” as Tehran escalated attacks across Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Khamenei said renewed US military operations had proved that President Donald Trump’s commitments were “worthless.” He warned that Washington would face heavier consequences if it continued attacking Iran.
Senior military adviser Major General Mohsen Rezaei reinforced the warning. He said Iran could resume “full-scale offensive operations” and would no longer restrict itself to equivalent retaliation if US strikes continued.
The warning followed a week of intensifying US attacks that Iran said had hit an airport, railway station, bridges, power facilities and desalination infrastructure.
