The report released by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) alleges that Iran is secretly developing nuclear missiles capable of reaching Europe, raising significant security concerns.
According to the NCRI, an exiled opposition group, these missiles are being produced at facilities disguised as satellite launch sites. One such facility, the Shahrud missile site, reportedly overseen by Iran’s Organization for Advanced Defense Research and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), is developing a nuclear warhead for the Ghaem-100 missile, which can reach destinations as far as Greece.
The NCRI claims that this site has conducted multiple rocket tests under the guise of satellite launches and is planning further tests of more advanced Ghaem rockets soon. Another facility, located southeast of Semnan and allegedly based on North Korean missile designs, is reportedly expanding and partly located underground.
This development has triggered a swift international response, with several countries, including South Korea, Ireland, France, Australia, and Italy, expressing concerns about DeepSeek’s data handling practices and the potential misuse of technology for military purposes.
