A Karachi jeweller robbery in Karimabad saw three armed suspects loot Rs2.3 million cash and one kilogram of silver from a trader heading to Bolton Market, police said
Police officials said the suspects intercepted the jeweller on a motorcycle and fled after seizing cash kept in a helmet and a bag carrying silver.
Video of the incident, recorded on a mobile phone and later circulated online, showed one suspect pulling out the motorcycle key to force the victim to stop.

The footage showed the armed men holding the jeweller at gunpoint before escaping with the cash and silver, according to police details cited in the report.
Authorities said a case had been registered against unidentified suspects on the victim’s complaint, while further investigation was underway.
The incident came after CCTV footage surfaced of a separate daylight bank robbery in Pirabad on Manghopir Road, where armed suspects looted about Rs60 million.
Senior Superintendent of Police West Tariq Mastoi said four to five suspects were involved in the bank heist, with three entering the branch and two providing cover outside.
Officials said the bank robbers disarmed the security guard, snatched his pistol and rifle, and collected cash from counters and storage areas before escaping.
