Karachi: Initial investigation has revealed that the same group was involved in the murder of DSP Zulfiqar Ali Zaidi, killed DSP Abdul Fateh 10 days earlier.
On late Saturday night unidentified gunmen shot dead DSP Zulfiqar Ali Zaidi near Eidgah Ground in Shah Faisal Colony. Zaidi was the security in-charge of the Sindh Hight Court.
This is the scecond killing of high ranked police officer after the assassination of another senior police official, DSP Abdul Fateh.

Sangri was gunned down along with his driver and security guard in Gulshan-i-Hadeed area on May 1.
Police detectives investigating the murders now believe that gunmen involved in both attacks belonged to the same militant group, Geo News has learnt.
Police suspect the involvement of a banned militant outfit in the two murders.
