The Ministry of Interior has proposed a five-day vacation for Eid-ul-Fitr
According to sources, the interior ministry has sent a summary to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for approval and proposed 5 day Eid vacation from July 17 to 21.
According to a proposed summary the Ministry of Interior, all the ministries, divisions, government and semi-government departments and autonomous functionaries would remain closed for 5 days for the Eid holidays starting from July 17 to July 21.
The Met Office says that Shawal moon is most likely to be sighted on June 17 evening, which means that Eid will be celebrated on July 18.
