Just a few days after Pakistan released 151 Indian fishermen, India released 37 Pakistanis earlier today.

Out of the 37 Pakistanis, 32 are fishermen.

On May 25, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had ordered the release of 151 Indian prisoners currently detained in Pakistani jails and 57 Indian fishing boats in Pakistani custody ahead of his historic visit to New Delhi to attend Narendra Modi’s swearing-in as Prime Minister after Modi’ BJP secured a landslide victory in the Indian elections held earlier this month.
