Lahore: Blind people today continued their protest on third day outside the Punjab Assembly, seeking increase in employment quota and permanent jobs.
Earlier, the government had vowed to meet their demands. However, special people believe that the government did not keep its word.
On June 8, the protesters conducted a rally outside the press club and marched towards the assembly. Upon failing to enter the assembly premises, the protesters demonstrated a sit-in at Chairing Cross.
