The British High Commissioner in Islamabad had warned the Pakistan government of the impending arrest of MQM head Altaf Hussain three days ago.
According to well-placed sources, British HC Philip Barton met Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Friday and informed him about the possible arrest of Altaf Hussain in money laundering case.
