A fuel crisis is looming large not only in Karachi but in the whole country following two days of supply disruptions.
A two-day lockdown of Karachi after the arrest of MQM chief in London has severely disrupted fuel supply operations of the oil marketing companies not only for Karachi but for rest of the country.
A senior official of the Oil Tankers Association said that most of the fuel stations in city have been shut due to security concerns. In addition, some 5,000 trucks carry fuel for upcountry cities.
