The first official, full-length trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is here, with Jennifer Lawrence returning as Katniss Everdeen.

The much-anticipated film is the third instalment in the Hunger Games franchise, which finds Katniss in District 13 after the pivotal events of Catching Fire.

“I never wanted any of this,” says Katniss in the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1trailer. “I never wanted to be in the Games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive.”

“It’s the things we love most that destroy us,” responds Snow (Donald Sutherland), primary antagonist and the ruler of Capitol.

The trailer also reveals that Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) is alive and held in the Capitol.

Based on the first part of the final novel in Suzanne Collins’ best-selling trilogy, the film is directed by Francis Lawrence with screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig.
