Badin: Former National Assembly speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza arrived in Badin on Wednesday’s wee hours.
Former Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza received her at his farm house.
From the footage broadcast on local news channels, it could be seen that Mrs. Mirza communicates with police personnel deployed outside the farmhouse.
She asks a policeman sitting in a police van, “I am asking you to move out from the front of my house.”
A policeman retorts, “We suppose we are here for your security.”
She asserted, “I got your security. Purpose has been served. Now, you may leave. I was escorted by my own three security guards.”
From the footage it could also witnessed that Mrs. Mirza also spoke to several policemen and enquired their names.
Mrs. Mirza urged the chief justice of Pakistan and chief justice Sindh High Court to take notice of the situation, adding if the harrowing security concerns persist, Zulfiqar Mirza will not be able to appear before the court.
