ISLAMABAD: Different cities of Punjab, Balochistan and northwestern upper parts experienced rain of light to moderate intensity yesterday, with Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasting more downpour today, Samaa reported.
According to PMD, a westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
The weather system will cause rain/thundershower coupled with gusty winds and isolated hailstorm at scattered places in Islamabad, Punjab, KP, FATA, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, north Baluchistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Nasirabad divisions), upper Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana divisions) during next 24 hours.
