Opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly (KPK) have submitted a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at the assembly secretariat on Tuesday.
Forty members have moved no-confidence motion against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) led coalition government of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
According to reports, the members of coalition partner Jamaat Islami (JI) have not support the move.

48 members of the provincial assembly belonging to opposition parties submitted the no-confidence motion. These members are of the view Khattak has lost confidence of the house and as such be stopped from carrying on his official duties.
In a house of 124 members, 63 members are required to make the no-confidence vote a success against Khattak – who belongs to PTI.
