Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to discuss bilateral relations.

The SPA shared photos of the crown prince’s reception for the army chief in AlUla.

During the reception, the army chief and the crown prince “discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them”

According to state media, Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad al Aiban also attended.

From January 4, the army chief is in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Then, on January 10, he’ll return to Pakistan.

Gen Munir’s first overseas trip as army chief.

ISPR said the army chief would meet senior leaders of both countries and discuss matters of mutual interest, military-to-military cooperation, and bilateral security relations.

The doors of the Holy Kaaba were opened for Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir during his Umrah in Makkah.

Gen Munir was filmed leaving the Holy Kaaba on Instagram. The army chief wore all black.
