Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif arrived in the UK earlier today on a three-day official visit.
General Raheel Sharif was received at the airport by top British military command and officials from the UK government.
The COAS is expected to hold meetings on security and huge importance is being attached to this visit.
Earlier, while addressing CENTCOM Asia Security Conference in Munich, Germany the COAS said perpetual instability in Afghanistan had telling effects on the region.
“Practical steps are required to manage Pak-Afghan borders for gainful conclusion of Operation Zarb-e-Azb,” the COAS said.
