Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here at the PM House, on Friday.
Officials said the two high-ups discussed matters of “mutual interest” as well as bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
Sources said PM Sharif is likely to embark on his three-day visit to China from Nov 7, two months after Chinese President Xi Jinping cancelled his visit to Pakistan owing to anti-government protests in Islamabad by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
