Economist Dr. Saboor Ahmad said that China was taking the utmost interest in investment in energy and economic sectors in Pakistan.
Talking to the media, he said that the meeting of Pak-China Working Group on Tuesday discussed joint energy and economic corridor projects.
He said that Pakistan and China had conformity of interests and Pakistan was deficient in energy sector and China was trying to support Pakistan in this sector.
Dr. Saboor said that it was welcoming that political leadership of both countries were interested in taking the ongoing projects forward for the benefit of both the countries.
He said that visit of South Korean Prime Minister to Pakistan indicated international investor’s confidence on the economic policies of the government.
