Gas explosion in Rawalpindi killed a child and left six persons injured on Tuesday.
A child died on the spot and six members of a family including two children were injured after gas leakage from a geaser in a house of Mangtal area in Rawalpindi caused loud explosion.
The personnel of rescue service 1122 transferred the injured to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad for medical attendance.
Two children and a woman among the injured said to be in risky condition.
The residents of the city saying that they were forced to use gas cylinders due to the worst load shedding of gas in the region.
