The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) founder, Altaf Hussain, has written a letter to the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, appealing to him to play a role in stopping the large-scale killings of Palestinians in Gaza.
“Israel should be asked to immediately stop bombardment of Gaza so that relief activities could be undertaken to bring help to the injured and the displaced people,” said the MQM chief in his letter.
Hussain urged on all Islamic and other countries who profess to champion human rights to strongly raise their voice against the Israeli aggression.
