Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain announced to quit the leadership of his party and delegated all concerned responsibilities to the Rabita Committee and after 5 hour, reversed his decision to abandon the party leadership.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, Altaf Hussain censure Rabita Committee that the body did not correct its conduct despite his frequent warning.
He asserted “Now, I am not strong enough to withstand the disloyalties and sorrows,”
Announcing to abandon the leadership of his party, Altaf Hussain called upon the Rabita Committee to select anyone who they choose for the top slot of the party.
After 5 hours upon request of MQM top leadership and party workers, Altaf Hussain withdraw his decision.
