Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI )founder Imran Khan, received post-arrest bail on Friday in the D-Chowk protest case.
Anti-terrorism court Judge Abual Hasnaat Zulqarnain presided over the hearing and granted their bail against surety bonds of Rs20,000 each after hearing arguments from both sides.
On October 6, Islamabad police detained several PTI activists, including Imran Khan’s sisters, as they tried to participate in a scheduled protest at D-Chowk.

On Thursday, Bushra Bibi, wife of the PTI founder, secured release from Adiala Jail after being granted bail in the Toshakhana-II case. Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court approved her bail on Wednesday for Rs1 million surety bonds.
The court also ordered the immediate release of the former first lady, who had been in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, for about nine months. Bushra Bibi had been sentenced to 14 years in jail on January 31st in the Toshakhana case, which she served until the Islamabad High Court suspended her sentence. However, she was re-arrested under the Toshakhana-II case.
