Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has inspected the new plane inducted into fleet of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) here today.
The PM inspected different parts of the plane and expressed satisfaction over the induction of the plane in the national airlines fleet. Adviser to PM on aviation Shujaat Azeem was also present on this occasion.
The new plane would provide services to local and Middle East passengers.
The Airbus 320 having a capacity of 180 passengers, has been procured on six-year lease from Ireland and will start its formal commercial flights from Tuesday. Its a popular aircraft amongst the world airlines with more then 6000 aeroplanes produced since its inception in 1987.
