Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has decided to handover the portfolio of Finance Minister to Ishan Iqbal.
According to a notification issued today, the portfolio of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, has been given toPlanning and Reforms Minister Ahsan Iqbal.
The notification has been issued following a meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) chaired by the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi , which is attended by the four provincial chief ministers as well as the federal ministers.
Iqbal also holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Interior.
At present, Dar is facing a corruption case filed by the National Accountability Bureau in light of the Supreme Court’s judgment in the Panama Papers case.
