THATTA, Sindh: Police arrested an Azaan kidnapping suspect during a search operation after the two-and-a-half-year-old child was recovered safely from Gharo following three days missing.
Hyderabad Range Police detained the man in Sultanabad Thaim Goth, Thatta district, according to police sources. Officers alleged that he had links to the child’s abduction.
Police handed the suspect over to Karachi West Police, which will transfer him to Karachi for questioning about the alleged kidnapping and the circumstances surrounding Azaan’s recovery.

Azaan’s mother separately rejected social media claims that the kidnapping had been staged. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, she said no mother would willingly expose her child to such an ordeal.
She also questioned security arrangements at the private housing society and called for scrutiny of its management and guards.
Police have not publicly disclosed the suspect’s identity, the evidence allegedly connecting him to the case or whether investigators expect further arrests.
