Four accused including two Lyari gang war criminals were killed in two separate police encounters in the metropolis in the early hours of Thursday.
According to SSP anti-violent crime cell Nasir Aftab, two accused who were killed in exchange of fire in Sachal Goth were affiliated with gang war elements. The accused were involved in kidnapping for ransom and killing of police personnel, he said.
Police said that another alleged police encounter took place on Abul Hassan Isphahani road where two accused involved in street crimes were killed. Motorcycle, two pistols and cash were recovered from their possession, according to the police.
