A major terror attack has been thwarted in Karachi as a bomb found in North Nazimabad area was defused today morning.
According to police, a suspect has also been apprehended from the site.
Police said that a bomb was found at Qalandaria Chowk in North Nazimabad locality after which a bomb disposal squad had been called in, while the area was vacated.
The bomb disposal squad in-charge said that a locally-made bomb was placed in a bag.
The police also detained a man taking pictures at the site.
