Police today foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and arrested three suspects, including two women, near Peshawar.
According to initial reports, the car was en route to Peshawar when it was stopped at a check post for security check.
Twenty-five pistols, five Klashinkovs, two SMG guns and three G-3s were recovered during the search.
The arrested suspects were identified as Asfandyar hailing from Swabi, the two women were named Naila and Shahnaz.
