The Pakistani Authorities have deported approximately 2,000 illegal Afghans after the attack on Army Public School in Peshawar in December 2014.

According to security officials, during the last visit of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) it was clearly communicated to the Afghan government that around three million refugees are creating great security risk and Pakistan is intending to send non-registered Afghan refugees without any further delays.

The official also added after approval from the National Action Plan (NAP) the provincial governments have been strictly directed to arrest illegal Afghans and deport them immediately.

It has also been observed that COAS has also handed over evidence to the Afghan President that unregistered Afghans are involved in terrorist activities and crimes, creating law and order problems in Pakistan.
