The Sindh government has requested the Centre to shut down mobile phone services on Sunday owing to Youm-e-Ali processions.
In a letter sent to the federal government, Sindh Home Department said that cellular phone service be suspended from 4am to 11pm.
It said that decision has been made due to security threats.
