Unknown people set ablaze World Call zonal office located near ‘Do Talwaar’, Clifton Karachi.
Cable Operators Association, has strongly condemned the incident of burning of World Call zonal office.
It is believed that the incident was an outcome of broadcasting Geo TV transmission.
According to WorldCall manager Waqar Laghari, about 9 armed persons on motorcycles arrived on the spot and out of which six stayed downstairs, while three stormed into the office. At gunpoint the attackers directed the staff to go outside and set the office alight
