An anti-terrorism court remanded yesterday, two suspects in police custody in unlicensed weapons and explosive substance cases.
Police produced Shamshad Ali and Ahmed Yasir, said to be political activists, in court amid tight security.
Rangers’ personnel had raided a house in PIB Colony near the house of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Monday and arrested the suspects.
The initial report submitted by the police said the suspects were involved in a number of cases registered at different police stations and sought their custody for further interrogation and their arrest in other cases.
