Death toll from insufficient health facilities at DHQ Hospital in Sargodah climbed to 15 as 3 more children died on Friday.
Family members of the children who died over the past 24 hours had blamed insufficient oxygen supply in the nursery ward and negligence of hospital staff for the deaths.
DHQ Hospital management had, however, denied allegations and said that there was no deficiency of gas in any ward.
The latest victims were a two-day old girl and a pair of twins.
A three-member investigation committee – formed to investigate the tragedy – had sent a comprehensive report on the matter to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
