Intelligence agencies on Thursday arrested alleged terror mastermind from Hujra Shah Muqeem town of Okara District. The raid was conducted in village Chak 18-D of Hujra Shah Muqeem.
The mastermind identified as Maulvi Ishaq was arrested along with two other suspected terrorists Sadam and Naveed. They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
According to initial details, alleged terrorist Sadam told authorities that a person identified as Maulvi Zulfiqar, who belonged to the same village, had lured him to a training centre in Quetta and kept him in Pashin area for twenty days.
The arrested suspect also accused Maulvi Ishaq and Maulvi Zulfiqar of luring youngsters to take part in terror activities. It may be mentioned here that eighteen suspects have been arrested from different areas of Hujra Shah Muqeem following an anti-terror operation in Raiwind area of Lahore last week.
Two terrorists were killed while one elite force personnel embraced martyrdom during clash in Raiwind on July 17.
