Sindh police has asked for Pakistan Army for the security during the holy month of Muharram.
According to sources, Additional IG Operations, requests the provincial government to keep the military on standby during the holy month, as they will be called in, if need be.
According to the summary, the Sindh Govt has requested for at least 900 troops, which will be deployed in south zone; four companies in east zone and three companies are in west zone.
Similarly, a company was solicited for Hyderabad and 50 troops for deployment in district Dadu, 400 soldiers in Larkana and five companies have been sought for Sukkur security.
