Earlier today Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah arrived in Mithi with his ministers to discuss the drought crisis in Sindh’s desert district of Tharparkar.
Security has been stepped up in Mithi, ahead of the provincial cabinet’s meeting.
A two-year child Arbab Rajar died in Mithi today increasing death toll of children in food shortage hit region to 54.
Several children have been admitted at hospitals and many said to be in a critical state.
