Security forces gunned down ten terrorists and arrested two others after they tried to attack Samungli Airbase of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in Quetta on late Thursday night.
According to a spokesman of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), security forces engaged the terrorists, who were trying to enter the airbase.
Heavy contingent of Police was called after an intense gunfight erupted between the terrorists and the security personnel. The terrorists fired seven rockets due to which a vehicle of the security force was destroyed. Home Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti has said that four rockets were recovered from a vehicle.
According to latest information, the airbase was cleared from terrorists after thorough search operation.
