Sindh Rangers have handed over notorious Lyari gangster Uzair Jan Baloch to police after end of 90-day physical remand in the paramilitary’s custody.

Rangers handed Uzair Baloch to Nabi Bux Police, who presented the Lyari ringleader in Sindh High Court.

Meanwhile, Uzair Baloch had made several new startling disclosures before the Joint Investigation team (JIT), sources said.

JIT sources said Baloch had confessed to killing 197 people, directly or indirectly, including the murder of traders of Shershah scrap market.

Uzair Baloch also ordered killing of Haji Aslam, resident of Dalmia area, and his five sons.

He also helped Saeed Jan Baloch to become the chairman of Fisheries Cooperative Society, the sources said and added that Saeed used to give Rs10 million per month extortion to Uzair.
